These terms govern use of the 10 words (TenWords) mobile app and the website 10-words.app. By creating an account or using the app you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
10 words is a vocabulary-learning app. We provide a daily word pack, flashcards, reviews, and a weekly exam. The service is educational and does not guarantee specific learning outcomes.
3. Account
Your account is personal. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity on your account. Do not share your account or create an account in someone else’s name without permission. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.
4. Acceptable use
Use the app lawfully and as intended. You must not bypass security, scrape content automatically, copy the word bank for distribution, disrupt the service, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
5. Availability
We aim to keep the service available, but we may update, limit, or temporarily suspend it for technical reasons, maintenance, or misuse.
6. Intellectual property
The app, name, logo, interface, software, word bank, translations, example sentences, and exercise materials are protected by copyright or used under appropriate rights. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal learning only. You may not copy, publish, resell, decompile, or build derivative products from our content without permission.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 10 words is not liable for damage arising from outages, lost learning progress, or use of the app contrary to these terms.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always published on this page with the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
